  I had been doing my taxes with H & R Block for 16 years. The last few years, I have had some issues with returns that had me worried, so I have been paying extra for their guarantee program. The preparer assured me the last time I filed that if I purchased this "insurance" if the return I received was different from what H & R Block said it would be, they would cover the difference. The return was off by quite a bit. I filed the claim for the reimbursement in April. I understand that is a busy time, so when they didn't contact me I let it to til mid May. At that time I contacted them again and had to go down to the office to fill out a power of attorney form. After a month of putting me off, they informed me they had lost the form and I would need to fill out another. (They assured me it had been accidentally shredded. I can only hope that was the case). I filled out the second and after another month of waiting, they denied the claim. I recommend you go somewhere else to get your taxes done.
